You'll be responsible for utilizing accepted practices and standards to ensure that all designs meet the highest level of quality and safety. This is a supervisory role with direct reports, including engineers and designers. Develop, manage, and oversee complex substation and EPC project plans, including scope, WBS, and execution strategy.Develop project plans, including project scope of work and WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) for complex multi-discipline-based substation Engineering projects and EPC projectsManage Substation project execution, including project scope, schedule, budget, and project resources, including external vendors, consultants, and contractorsEffectively track and stabilize projects, implement solutions to obstacles, and ensure client goals are achievedAttend client meetings and communicate concerns and changes with the client to ensure a positive relationship and growth opportunitiesPrepare and review preliminary designs.Prepare proposals, including budgetary estimatesLead the development of plans, specifications, studies, estimates, material lists, and other deliverablesEnsure team adherence to QA/QC programB. Develop new, or modify existing:Electrical layout/plan of substation equipment and structuresSubstation foundation layout/plan drawingsSection/elevation views from layout/plan drawingsConduit layout/plan drawingsSubstation grounding layout/plan drawingsControl building layout/plan and section/elevation drawingsLead, mentor, and help grow a team of engineers and designers:Manage day-to-day activities for your teamSet goals and expectations for each team memberAssist in annual performance reviewsAssist in recruiting efforts—posting job requisitions and participation in interviewsSkills, Knowledge, and ExpertiseBachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering8+ years of direct substation physical and electrical engineering experience.Professional engineering license in any state and the ability to acquire further licensure in other states.A combination of education and a demonstrated related experience may be considered in lieu of education and experience requirements.Solid comprehension and application of design software such as MicroStation and AutoCAD.Proficient with Windows-based software such as Word and Excel, which are frequently used to develop project deliverables.Ability to learn and effectively utilize new design software programs.Ability to work in a team environment with others, including, but not limited to, project managers, engineers, designers, and drafters in multi-discipline groups.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and work product quality.You Might Also Have:AutoCAD Civil 3D and other 3D applicationsWhy Join Us?At our Pune office , you’ll be part of a vibrant, innovative environment that fuses local excellence with global impact.
