RAN Planning & DesignPerform radio network planning, including coverage, capacity, and frequency planning for multi-technology RAN (2G/3G/4G/5G).Conduct link budget analysis, site selection, and dimensioning for new deployments and expansions.Use planning tools (e.g., Atoll, Planet, QGIS) for RF design and simulation.Plan network evolution strategies, including spectrum refarming, carrier aggregation,Support network rollout teams with site acquisition and design validation.2. Network Performance & OptimizationAnalyze network KPIs and drive continuous performance improvement.Knowledge of implementation of GPL, LMS and Load balancing in LTEIdentify coverage gaps, interference issues, and capacity bottlenecks and propose optimization solutions.Collaborate with field and operations teams for performance audits and acceptance tests.Support parameter tuning and feature activation (MIMO, DSS, VoLTE/VoNR, etc.).3. Solution SupportKnowledge of RAN Product Portfolio for Nokia/Ericsson/Huawei/ZTE/SamsungDevelop RAN capacity models, cost estimates, and network rollout timelines for bids and proposals.Support RFQ/RFP responses by providing network architecture, BoQ, and technical justifications.Assist in evaluating vendor proposals and new technology introductions.4. Cross-Functional CollaborationWork with Core, Transmission, and IP planning teams for end-to-end solution design.Coordinate with vendors and OEMs (e.g., Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, ZTE) for solution evaluation, trials, and roadmap discussions.Liaise with regulatory bodies for spectrum and site planning compliance.Key Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of 2G/3G/4G/5G RAN technologies , architecture, and features.Proficiency in RF planning and optimization tools (Atoll, Planet, MapInfo, QGIS, Google Earth etc.).Understanding of presales processes , bid management, and techno-commercial proposals.Good grasp of capacity planning , traffic forecasting , and cost modeling .Excellent presentation and communication skills.Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of Any programming language: Python, SQL, BI etc.
