Data Governance - ManagerLocation – IndiaExperience – 10+ YearsData Governance Lead is responsible to build and support the tools & technology required to enable an Enterprise Data Governance program.Responsibilities:Act as a primary contributor for the tool implementation of Data governance programsBuild and support solutions for Data governance in popular tools like Collibra, Informatica, Alation, etc. to enable data cataloging, meta data management, and data lineage of the enterprise’s applications and data sources.Enable enterprise level integration of metadata stores for the business users to search and understand information by developing standard business glossaries and data dictionariesSupport in implementing a solution for Data Cataloging with a Data governance tool to establish clear data ownership along with access control managementBuild custom integrations between the Data governance tool and various data stores to map and view data lineageSupport the enterprise in migrating from existing (and different) data sources like SharePoint, Excel, etc. to a Data Governance toolSupport in implementing a Workflow management system to optimize, improve, and automate the Data Governance workflows for the data stewards to increase output, eliminate repetition, and reduce errorsImplement the means to track, investigate and correct data quality issues in a Data Governance tool and support in setting up data quality rules for data validation and standardizationExperience & Skills Required:Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related fields or an equivalent combination of education and experience3+ years of hands-on experience utilizing tools like #Collibra, #Informatica, #Alation, etc to implement Data governance programs5+ years of experience in data management space under any areaStrong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyProven ability to work with business stakeholders and leaders to identify and align on workable business solutions to data privacy requirements and challengesKnowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protectionDemonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies.Certifications on these tools is a plus
