Job Title - Engineering & Application Specialist – Energy Storage Solutions
Location – Gurgaon
About Employer – One of the largest renewable companies
Qualification - B. Tech in Electrical
Mandatory experience - Electrical Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in Renewable Industry.
Important requirement s - Must have experience in design, engineering, testing, and validation of Lithium battery-based Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) including PCS, EMS for Grid Scale Applications. Must be conversant with applicable standards/ Codes for Grid Integration.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Review of tender requirements and develop engineering solutions for ESS complying applicable codes/ standards and SLAs.
Design, sizing calculation, engineering, selection, testing, validation of complete ESS solutions including, Battery, BMS, EMS, PCS, Transformer, Switchgear, Cable and associated electrical components for Grid Scale Application.
Integration of ESS Solution with grid-connected renewable plants - creating engineering documents - BOM, wiring diagram/ schematics, specifications, test procedures and test plans to comply with tender requirements.
Testing and performance validation at the renewable project site.
Preparing scope of supply, creating specifications of ESS solution and associated components to establish supply chain.
Evaluation of vendors and their technical proposals.
Evaluation of alternate technologies and developing technology roadmap.
Technology partnership through - SKD/ CKD and selection of partners.
Cost reduction through engineering innovation and competition benchmarking.
