Job Title: Software Engineer (Junior Developer) Location: Bangalore, India Division: GPM - Kantar Worldpanel Job Description: Kantar Worldpanel is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining enterprise-level software using C#, ASP.net, and MVC frameworks. The role requires a deep understanding of Azure Cloud databases and expertise in SQL, API development, and front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and Angular. The Software Engineer will work closely with the product management team (GPM) to design and implement high-quality software solutions that meet business needs. Key Responsibilities: 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development using the Microsoft. NET stack. Proven experience with ASP. NET Core, C#, Entity Framework, and front-end frameworks like Angular, React. Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Microsoft. NET stack, including ASP. NET Core, C#, and Entity Framework. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture principles. Experience with RESTful API development and integration. Collaborate with architects and other senior developers to design scalable, robust, and secure software architectures. Participate in the design and development of microservices and distributed systems. Strong experience with SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning. Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, including services like Azure App Services, Azure SQL, and Azure Functions. Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and tools such as Azure Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing. Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft Certified:. NET Developer. Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and project requirements. Required Skills: Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.net, and MVC. Experience with Azure Cloud databases and SQL. Knowledge of API and Graph QL development. Expertise in HTML, CSS, and Angular. Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies. Qualifications: 5 - 8 years of experience in software development. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
