About the Role :- We're looking for a strong React Native Engineer (SDE 2) to join our Consumer App team atLicious.- You'll play a key role in shaping and delivering high-impact features for millions of users whointeract with Licious every day.- The role demands deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving ability and a keen focus on building performant, scalable and maintainable mobile applications.- As part of this team, you’ll work closely with design, product, backend and QA to create best-in class app experiences that drive user delight and business impact.What You’ll Do :- Take end-to-end ownership of features — from technical design and implementation torelease and post-launch monitoring.- Build and maintain high-performance React Native screens and modules with seamlesscross-platform behavior across i OS and Android.- Optimize app startup time, navigation and runtime performance through profiling andrefactoring.- Collaborate with backend and design teams to deliver robust, scalable and user-friendlyinterfaces.- Implement pixel-perfect and accessible UI that matches design specifications across different devices and resolutions.- Participate actively in code reviews, architecture discussions and performance audits.- Lead efforts to modernize existing codebases — migrating to Type Script and modularizinglegacy components.- Ensure observability and stability through effective monitoring, crash reporting and analyticsinstrumentation.- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a strong engineering culture and high technicalbar.What We’re Looking For :- 4–6 years of professional experience in front-end or mobile development, with 3+ years inReact Native (Type Script preferred).- Solid understanding of React Hooks, Context API, Redux Toolkit / Zustand and modern state management practices.- Proficiency in Java Script / Type Script, asynchronous programming and optimizing renderperformance.- Experience working with React Navigation, deep linking and complex navigation stacks.- Familiarity with native module integration, debugging in Android Studio and Xcode and bridging techniques.- Hands-on experience with Hermes, Reanimated and performance tuning on both platforms.- Good understanding of RESTful API integration, caching and data persistence strategies.- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Code Push and release management processes.- Strong attention to detail, product thinking and ownership mindset — with the ability to work- independently in a fast-paced environment.- Familiarity with Flipper Android Profiler or Xcode Instruments for debugging andperformance profiling.Bonus Skills :Experience working with native Android (Kotlin) or i OS (Swift) modules.Exposure to Server-Driven UI (SDUI) or modular monorepo architecture.Contributions to shared component libraries or design systems.Why Join Licious?Build for millions of daily users in one of India’s fastest-growing consumer brands.Work on React Native modernization — driving migration from native Android/i OS to aunified, high-performance app.Ownership-driven culture — freedom to innovate, strong peer collaboration and hightechnical depth.Solve meaningful challenges in commerce, logistics and personalization at scale.Work in a team that values clean architecture, performance and code quality as much asspeed of execution.
