We also provide foundational platform services to set up and configure accounts, organize resources for efficiency, and control resource consumption across large-scale cloud implementations.ResponsibilitiesOur Principal Engineers operate autonomously and set technical direction for the broader org. You have experience developing and running high-scale services, and you know how to make cloud-scale systems resilient. You balance speed and quality through iterative improvements, champion operational excellence, and foster a proactive, ownership-driven culture. You use data to recommend and justify major changes to new and existing products, building consensus across teams.We’re seeking a Principal Engineer with deep cloud experience and hands-on design expertise in large-scale, distributed systems. If you’ve built and operated services in cloud environments and are ready to lead at scale, we’d love to meet you.Qualifications- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field involving coding or equivalent practical experience.- 7+ years of total experience in software development.- Demonstrated ability to write great code using Java, Python, Go Lang, C#, or similar Object Oriented languages.- Proven ability to deliver products and experience with the full software development lifecycle.- Experience working on large-scale, highly distributed services infrastructure.- Experience working in an operational environment with mission-critical tier-one services- Systematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, a sense of ownership, and driv- Experience designing architectures that demonstrate deep technical depth in one area, or span many products, to enable high availability, scalability, market-leading features and flexibility to meet future business demand.- Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to all audiences- Comfortably in a collaborative, agile development environment.
