Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced PCB Design Engineer to join our team, designing and developing high-quality printed circuit boards for innovative electronic products. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in PCB design, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience with industry-standard design tools.

Responsibilities

1. Design and Development: Create complex PCB designs using Altium Designer, KiCad, or similar tools, ensuring design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT).

2. Schematic Capture: Develop and maintain accurate schematic diagrams, component libraries, and design documentation.

3. Layout and Routing: Design and optimize PCB layouts, ensuring signal integrity, power distribution, and thermal management.

4. Simulation and Analysis: Perform signal integrity simulations, power analysis, and thermal analysis to ensure design reliability.

5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and test engineers.

6. Design for Manufacturability: Ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements, including DFM, DFA, and DFT.

7. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date design documentation.

Requirements

Technical Requirements

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.

2. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in PCB design, preferably in the electronics industry.

3. Design Tools: Proficiency in Altium Designer, KiCad, or similar PCB design software.

4. Operating Systems: Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux.

Soft Skills

1. Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

2. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot designs.

3. Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.

Nice to Have

1. Experience with PCB design for high-speed digital, analog, or mixed-signal applications.

2. Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis.

3. Familiarity with design automation tools, such as Python scripting.

4. Experience with Agile development methodologies.
