Job Title: Data Scientist (PhD)Location: Hyderabad, TelanganaEmployment Type: Full-Time / PermanentAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with a PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive strategic business decisions.Key Responsibilities- Design and develop advanced machine learning and statistical models to solve complex business challenges.- Conduct in-depth research and experimentation to innovate and improve data science methodologies.- Collect, clean, and analyze large, structured and unstructured datasets to extract actionable insights.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Business) to integrate models into production systems.- Perform hypothesis testing, predictive modeling, and optimization to support strategic initiatives.- Publish internal technical reports and, where appropriate, contribute to research papers/patents.- Stay updated with the latest research trends in AI/ML, deep learning, NLP, and data analytics.- Mentor junior data scientists and provide thought leadership within the team.Required Qualifications- PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.- Proven experience in applying machine learning, deep learning, and statistical techniques to real-world problems.- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages, with expertise in libraries/frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.).- Proficiency in SQL and working with large-scale data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, or similar).- Strong background in mathematics, probability, linear algebra, and optimization.- Experience with research publication or contribution to open-source projects is a plus.- Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Skills- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).- Exposure to natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or reinforcement learning.- Strong domain expertise in (Healthcare, Finance, Retail, etc. – customize as per your industry).- Track record of academic publications or patents in AI/ML/Data Science.
