Essar Constructions India Limited (ECIL) is the Indian arm of Essar Projects, which focusses on India and the Sub-continent. It also has a multidisciplinary skilled and experienced Engineering & PMC division which provides a comprehensive array of value added technical engineering services, in a structured manner, across diverse sectors. It is fully geared to service global clients by providing end-to-end engineering solutions from feasibility studies and scope documents to design conceptualization, FEED, detailed design, PMC, field engineering, commissioning and start up assistance and also debottlenecking for efficient plant operations. We are looking for qualified and experienced professional in Contract & Procurement function at Essar Constructions India Ltd SWIS Project, Salaya, Jamnagar. Develop and implement sourcing strategies for Civil Construction material ( Steel , Cement, Aggregates, RMC , etc.) , equipment’s, and services at the best possible cost & terms and align with the project requirements. ~ Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers, building and maintaining strong relationships with key vendors, and coordinate with Client for approval of vendors, to ensure quality and timely deliveries. ~ Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and service level agreements. ~ Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs, including competitive bidding, price negotiation, and value engineering. ~ Procurement Process : Oversee the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including requisition processing, obtaining quotations, preparing purchase orders, and expediting deliveries. ~ Quality Assurance: Ensure that all purchased materials meet quality standards and specifications, as per project requirements. ~ Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, relevant regulations, and safety standards. ~ Collaborate with engineering, finance and operations teams and other departments, including external client, to ensure seamless execution of procurement activities. ~ Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, including cost savings, supplier performance, and risk mitigation activities. ~ Specific Skills and Experience : Proven experience in procurement / Contract for 6-10 Years, in Civil procurement , ideally within the construction or infrastructure sector Experience with SAP / ERP systems and procurement software. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Qualification: BE - Civil Engineering
