Job Summary The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with dealers and system integrators across India. The ideal candidate will have extensive industry knowledge, a strong sales acumen, and the ability to drive revenue growth through strategic business development initiatives. This role requires frequent travel to onboard new dealers, maintain relationships, and expand our network.
Key Responsibilities Dealer Network Expansion: Identify, onboard, and nurture dealers and system integrators to increase market penetration.
Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
Business Development: Travel across India to identify new business opportunities and establish strong relationships with key industry players.
Training & Product Knowledge: Ensure dealers are well-trained and knowledgeable about our product offerings to drive effective sales.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
Account Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers, providing ongoing support, incentives, and solutions to enhance their sales performance.
Strategic Partnerships: Work closely with manufacturers, vendors, and internal teams to align business objectives and ensure seamless product distribution.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Monitor sales performance, generate reports, and provide insights to optimize sales strategies.
Trade Shows & Events: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness and establish connections.
Qualifications & Skills Minimum 5 years of experience in channel sales, distribution, or business development within home automation, AV, smart home technology, or related industries.
Strong dealer management and B2 B sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to travel across India to engage with dealers and attend industry events.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and sustain long-term business relationships.
Knowledge of home automation, AV solutions, smart home technology , or high-end consumer electronics is a major plus.
Self-motivated, highly organised, and capable of working independently while reporting to leadership.
Experience with CRM tools, sales reporting, and forecasting is preferred.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate business opportunities and drive data-driven decision-making.
