We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in pre-sales activities to work on-site at a government client location in Kanpur. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in understanding client needs, preparing tailored solutions, and supporting pre-sales activities. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills to work closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Requirement Analysis:

  • Engage with government stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Conduct detailed discussions to understand project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Pre-Sales Support:

  • Work with the sales and solutions team to develop and deliver presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations tailored to government requirements.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Quotations (RFQs).

Solution Design and Proposal Development:

  • Collaborate with technical and project management teams to create customized solutions and proposals that align with client requirements and industry best practices.
  • Prepare high-quality documentation, including use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.

Bid Management:

  • Support the preparation and submission of technical and financial proposals for government tenders.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance requirements and timelines for proposal submissions.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for client stakeholders during the pre-sales phase.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between the client, internal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project scope and expectations.

Market and Competitive Analysis:

  • Conduct research on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings in the government sector.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance solution offerings and competitive positioning.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field. MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Business Analyst, preferably in pre-sales and government projects.
  • Skills Required:
  • Strong understanding of government tender processes, RFPs, and RFQs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in preparing functional and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with project management and documentation tools (MS Office, Visio, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of government regulations, compliance standards, and e-Governance solutions.
  • Experience working directly with government clients.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
