Serving customerspan-India , our vision is to makemodern, premium, and luxury furnitureaccessible ataffordable prices .Role - Furniture Designer (CNC - Engineered Wood)The Furniture Designerwill be responsible for creatingmodern, cost-efficient, and production-ready designsfor engineered wood furniture under the brandAbout Space . The role involves usingCAD/CAM softwareto develop 2D/3D drawings, generateCNC machining files (nesting layouts, toolpaths, G-code) , and ensure efficient material utilization.The designer will collaborate closely with theproduction and operations teamsto convert design concepts into scalable mass-production models. The role requires a balance ofcreativity, technical expertise, and practical knowledgeof joinery, fittings, and CNC machining for engineered wood.Key Focus Areas:Design and developfurniture concepts(home, storage, décor, modular).Preparedetailed CAD drawings and 3D modelsfor CNC production.Optimizeboard usage (8x4 sheets)to minimize wastage.Translate designs intoCNC-ready files(nesting + G-code).Align designs withmodern trends, cost efficiency, and fast delivery goals .Qualifications & SkillsEducation:Diploma/Degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or Wood Technology.ITI/Polytechnic candidates with relevant CNC/furniture design experience will also be considered.Software Proficiency (must know at least 2–3):PYTHA 3D CADAutoCADSketchUpFusion 360 / SolidWorksCabinet VisionVectric Aspire / Cabinet Vision (preferred for CNC wood machining)Knowledge of CNC machining:CNC Router operations (cutting, drilling, grooving, carving).Nesting optimization for 8x4 boards.Cabinet VisionG-code/toolpath generation.Experience:3–5 years for Senior Designer.Freshers with strong CAD/CAM portfolio may also apply.Other Skills:Creativity with focus on modern & cost-effective design .Understanding ofmodular furniture design & hardware fittings .Strong coordination skills with production teams.What we offer:Opportunity to work oninnovative furniture projects .Exposure tomodern CNC technologyand large-scale production.Supportive team environment withcareer growth opportunities .Competitive salary package.
