• Implementation/Installation of Backup software Commvault 11, Commvault Snap protect (Intelli Snap)
• Configure & troubleshoot creating Storage policies, Sub client policies, and Schedule policies.
• Creating policy, scheduling backup jobs, installing client etc.
• Configure backups for File system, VMWare, MS SQL, Oracle RAC and non-RAC, NDMP
• Installation & Configuring of different types of backup agents like, File System, SQL, Oracle
• Use Intelli Snap backup on Commvault for Oracle RAC, SQL , VMware Datastore and OVM Repository
• Restoration of various types of backups like File System, SQL, VMware and Oracle Virtual Machines
• Oracle Data base and VMware server’s backup and restoration.
• Experience in configuring Database backups and restoration, VSA and Intelli Snap backups.
• Library Management: Monitoring the Disk storage and addressing to appropriate team to add/clear space. Troubleshooting issues with the Media Agent, mount paths and Libraries.
• Configuration of Media Agents on Windows and Linux.
• Commvault upgrades, apply Service Pack and Hotfix deployment
• Configuring & managing Auxiliary copy backups from Disk to tape.
• Comm Vault Disaster recovery backup replication to remote media and DR site
• Generate backup report
• Troubleshoot failed backups
Net App
• Perform Storage allocation, deallocation, decommission and zoning as per requirement.
• Configure and Manage Snap Mirror / Snap Vault replication between Net App Clusters.
• Experience in snapshots operation and recovery
• Creation/deletion of snapshot, extend Volume and LUN size.
• Respond to critical and non-critical storage events, prioritize all storage related tasks as appropriate
• Reclaiming unused/unwanted space.
• Report storage utilization and consumption including historical trending using OCUM / Performance Manager.
