The company primarily sells products from exclusive brands, including Makeup Revolution (London), L.A Girl (USA), Wet n Wild (USA), L.A Colours (USA), Milani (USA), Eveline (Poland), Lamel (Poland), and many more. The Director, Nikhil Bhatia, has a rich exposure in beauty, cosmetics, and marketing that resulted in the launch of his group beauty and skincare brand under "Kanvar Probio Pvt Ltd."
- Profile overview: The Marketplace Specialist is responsible for executing marketing, operations and merchandise tactics that drive increased sales and profits and achieve corporate sales goals through Ecommerce marketplaces. This position requires a hands-on manager who will collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing team members, Inventory Planners, Warehouse Operations and other areas in the Company. The candidate will provide day-to-day management of the marketplace operations, launch new programs, collaborate on future strategies and opportunities, and provide reporting necessary to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Roles & Responsibilities:
Analyse data, trends, and customer feedback to identify areas of opportunity and growth within the marketplace.
Monitor competitive pricing in the marketplace and recommend strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Develop and execute promotional campaigns and strategies to drive traffic and increase sales. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of product information across marketplaces.
Optimize product listings, including product images and descriptions, to maximize visibility and sales performance.
Design and execute test strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and optimize campaign performance.
Monitor and analyse the performance of campaigns and market initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Manage budgeting processes to ensure cost-effectiveness and maximize ROI of marketing strategies.
Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and feedback across marketplaces, providing excellent customer service and support.
Stay updated with changes in the marketplace landscape, including policies, algorithms, and consumer behaviour, and evaluate their potential implications for the business.
Knowledge of requirements, restrictions and best practices for successfully selling on Amazon, Myntra, Nykaa, other marketplaces.
Demonstrated talent for selecting product that will be successful in the marketplace space.
Demonstrated understanding of web technology, data feeds, browsers, analytics, reporting and content management systems and processes
Experience with Channel Advisor or similar product listing/data feed software
Demonstrated proficiency and experience with competitive analysis tools for pricing and product comparatives
Experience with paid advertising opportunities available on various marketplaces (management of agency relationships a plus)
Results driven and able to work with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals
Experienced in Excel and data manipulation/analysis
Common selling software such as Channel Advisor, Helium
Experience with ERP systems
- Skills Needed:
Abide by and stay updated on Amazon policy changes and provide status reports to appropriate managers and team members
Optimize listings, advertising and promotions, inventory and supply chain, customer service and order fulfilment.
Inspect inbound merchandise, execute competitive pricing analysis and complete tasks to prepare product for FBA and FBM programs
Track performance, monitor account health and provide analysis to develop actionable insights. Position is responsible for managing the day-to-day sales/inventory/supply chain/assortment recommendations for our growing Amazon Marketplace business. “Cost Fire” (CF)
Reporting on results including short and long-term objectives, weekly and monthly performance to goals.
Perform other related duties as assigned
- Must Have:
Experience in FBM and FBA models preferred
Relevant experience in a scale-up/start-up ecommerce environment
Knowledge of Profit & Loss Account
Strong communication skills- Verbal & Witten
