Vice President of Engineering

Role OverviewWe are seeking an exceptional VP of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization as we revolutionize enterprise AI solutions. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a hands-on technical leader who sets the engineering vision while actively contributing to our most critical technical challenges. This is a role for a builder at heart – someone who has spent their career in the trenches writing code, architecting systems, and launching products that scaled to millions of users.As our VP of Engineering, you will own the technical decision making for scaling our AI cloud solutions for the enterprise. You will lead by example, rolling up your sleeves to solve complex distributed systems challenges while building and mentoring a world-class engineering team. You will establish our engineering culture, drive architectural decisions that will define our platform for years to come, and ensure we maintain the highest bar for technical excellence.QualificationsRequired:12+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with at least 8+ years focused on building and scaling cloud-native applications in production environmentsProven track record of launching and scaling products from inception to millions of users, with deep understanding of the technical challenges at each stage of growthExtensive experience architecting and building distributed cloud systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure, including microservices, event-driven architectures, and multi-tenant SaaS platformsActive coding skills – you should be comfortable reviewing PRs, prototyping solutions, and jumping into the codebase as needed. This is not a PowerPoint or Jira curation roleStartup experience – you have thrived in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments where you had to build scrappy solutions that still scaledDeep passion for AI/ML technologies with hands-on experience integrating LLMs, training models, or building AI-powered products.
