Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Faculty Specialist to teach and mentor students in areas of Networking, Cybersecurity, and Systems Development. The successful candidate will bring extensive expertise in network architecture, cybersecurity protocols, Io T fundamentals, database systems, and system integration. This role involves conducting engaging lectures, facilitating hands-on labs, developing curriculum, and collaborating with academic teams to shape the next generation of IT professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct lectures and practical labs in Cybersecurity, Data and Database Systems, IT Systems Development, Computer Systems and Networks Security, Database Design, Network Design, Internet of Things (Io T), and related topics.
Develop and deliver high-quality curriculum and assessments aligned with industry standards and emerging technologies.
Mentor students on capstone projects focused on network security, Io T systems, and systems development.
Collaborate with faculty and academic teams to ensure the incorporation of real-world challenges into the curriculum.
Provide academic guidance and support to students, helping them succeed in coursework and projects.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and integrate them into teaching materials.
Skillset Requirements:
Educational Background: Master’s or Ph D in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of network architecture, cybersecurity protocols, Io T fundamentals, and database systems.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in teaching or professional experience in network security, database management, and Io T deployment.
Certifications: Preferred certifications include Comp TIA Security+, CISSP, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent.
Soft Skills: Strong project management and mentoring abilities, with the capacity to deliver hands-on labs in systems development.
Additional Skills: Familiarity with Io T platforms, cloud computing, and agile project management methodologies.
