Technical Support Analyst with hands on experience in Tandem systems Linux Windows (Should be highlighted in resume)

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Technical Support Analyst with hands-on experience in Tandem systems, Linux, Windows and various database technologies including SQL, Sybase, Oracle and others. The ideal candidate will provide production and application support during Toronto business hours ensuring system stability performance and timely issue resolution

Provide L2/L3 support for applications and systems running on Tandem, Linux and Windows platforms

Monitor and troubleshoot issues across multiple database environments - SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle, etc.

Ensure timely communication and documentation of issues resolutions and root cause analysis

Participate in on call rotation and incident management aligned with Toronto time zone

Required Skills Experience

Strong experience with Tandem HP NonStop systems

Proficiency in Linux and Windows server environments

Solid understanding of SQL and experience with Sybase, Oracle and other relational databases

Experience in production support, incident management and performance tuning

Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing tools e.g. ServiceNow, Jira

Experience in financial services or mission critical environments

Knowledge of scripting - Shell, Python or PowerShell for automation

Exposure to cloud platforms - AWS, Azure is a plus
