T Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive  NLP Engineer to design and implement advanced natural language processing (NLP) solutions. The role involves end-to-end ownership of NLP-based projects, from requirements gathering and model development to deployment and optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in NLP, a solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes, and experience managing projects to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

NLP Solution Development

  • Design and implement NLP models for tasks such as text generation, summarization, keyword extraction, grammar correction, and semantic analysis.
  • Develop text-to-text transformation capabilities for effective content structuring and rephrasing.
  • Utilize semantic analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights from unstructured data.

Tech Stack Implementation

  • Leverage state-of-the-art models like  T5 ,  BERT ,  RoBERTa , and  DistilBERT for tailored NLP solutions.
  • Use libraries such as  spaCy ,  NLTK , and  Hugging Face Transformers for text processing and model development.
  • Implement efficient pipelines for large-scale processing of text data.

System Integration and Optimization

  • Integrate NLP solutions into existing workflows and systems with high performance and reliability.
  • Optimize NLP models for speed, accuracy, and resource efficiency, including lightweight alternatives.
  • Ensure the scalability of solutions to handle high-volume use cases effectively.

Project Management

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of NLP projects, ensuring alignment with timelines and quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and manage deliverables.
  • Create detailed project documentation, including timelines, milestones, and risk assessments.

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans for validating NLP solutions.
  • Ensure robust version control and maintain high-quality coding standards throughout the development process.

Research and Innovation

  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in NLP, AI, and related technologies.
  • Experiment with new models and techniques to enhance existing processes and workflows.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and propose new use cases for NLP solutions.

Key Qualifications:

Technical Skills

  • Proven experience with NLP frameworks (e.g.,  spaCy ,  NLTK ,  Hugging Face Transformers ).
  • Expertise in pre-trained models (e.g.,  BERT ,  T5 ,  RoBERTa ) and their fine-tuning for domain-specific applications.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with proficiency in NLP-specific libraries.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like  PyTorch or  TensorFlow .
  • Solid understanding of text preprocessing, feature extraction, and model evaluation techniques.

Project Management Skills

  • Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders and delivering on deadlines.
  • Ability to create detailed project plans and track progress effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

SDLC Knowledge

  • Familiarity with Agile and waterfall methodologies for software development.
  • Experience in writing project documentation, including technical specifications and user stories.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and version control tools (e.g., Git).

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to lead and mentor team members when required.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience deploying NLP models in production environments.
  • Prior work in domains like HR, education, or finance involving NLP applications.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
