We are seeking a skilled and driven Model-Based Development (MBD) Developer to join our expanding team and contribute to the success of our eVTOL program. We are seeking a talented Model-Based Development (MBD) Developer to join our Aerospace Engineering team. The role involves designing, developing, and validating safety-critical embedded software using Model-Based Design methodologies . The candidate will work with MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, and code generation tools to deliver high-assurance software for avionics and flight control systems , aligned with industry standards such as DO-178C .   Develop and maintain  Simulink/Stateflow models for aerospace applications (e.g., flight control, guidance, navigation, and system monitoring). Perform  Model-in-the-Loop (MIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulations to verify and validate designs. Generate high-quality embedded C code using  Embedded Coder/TargetLink and ensure compliance with DO-178C. Collaborate with  systems engineers to translate requirements into software architecture and models. Support  Certification Liaison by preparing documentation and evidence for software qualification. Optimize models for  real-time execution on aerospace-grade embedded processors. Bachelor’s/master’s degree in aerospace engineering , Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field . Proficiency in  MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow for aerospace software development. Solid knowledge of  C programming for embedded real-time systems. Hands-on experience with  code generation (Embedded Coder, etc.). Familiarity with  DO-178C objectives and safety-critical development processes. Understanding of  cybersecurity in avionics systems . Prior experience in  flight control systems, UAVs, or cockpit display software.
