MarkIT EDM Data Engineer

Open for multiple locationsWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior MarkIT EDM Data Engineer. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering principles, strong technical skills, and the ability to drive projects to successful completion.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain data solutions using MarkIT EDM.- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data processes.- Optimize data workflows and processes for efficiency and scalability.- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.- Handling and managing the ongoing operation and application production support processes.- Involve and run the application infrastructure upgrades, patch management and disaster recovery exercise.Required Skills:- 6+ Years of extensive experience with MarkIT EDM and data engineering.- Proficiency in SQL, ControlM and database management.- Strong understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Conversant with the version management tool GITHUB and Bit Bucket- Be familiar with the project tracking tools Atlassian JIRA and collaboration tool Confluence.Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.- Experience with programming languages such as Python, or Scala.- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
