Design Construction Manager

Location: Mumbai, MaharashtraQualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical EngineeringExperience: Minimum 10 to 15 years, including substantial experience in Gulf countries with exposure to advanced construction technologies and practicesRole Overview:We are looking for a highly experienced professional to lead construction methods for fast-track and complex projects such as tall buildings, hotels, and large institutional structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both RCC and steel construction, with hands-on experience in the Gulf region where cutting-edge construction methodologies are employed. This role demands a strategic thinker with technical depth, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to drive value engineering and execution excellence.Key Responsibilities:Tender & Technical Review:Analyze tender documents and drawingsPrepare technical queries and liaise with clients for clarificationsConstruction Methodology:Develop site logistics plans, construction sequences, and suitable methodologiesPlan resources including labor and plant & machineryPrepare and present technical submissions and presentations to management and clientsDesign Coordination & Value Engineering:Collaborate with in-house design teams for construction-friendly designsCoordinate with external consultants for design/drawing alignment with client specificationsOptimize designs for efficiency and cost-effectivenessTechnology & Equipment Expertise:Apply knowledge of latest formwork systems and plant equipmentHandle methodologies for complex structuresSite & Execution Support:Conduct site visits to review progress and suggest alternate solutionsWork closely with execution teams to ensure seamless implementationCommunication & Documentation:Prepare and interpret construction drawings and sketchesMaintain clear and effective communication with stakeholdersDesired Skills & Competencies:Proven experience in Gulf countries with exposure to modern construction techniquesStrong understanding of structural design and engineering principlesFamiliarity with latest construction technologies and fast-track execution methodsKnowledge of plant and machinery used in constructionExpertise in modern formwork systems and erection techniquesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with execution and design teamsProficiency in preparing and interpreting technical drawings and sketches
