As a Senior Associate, you will: assist clients worldwide by delivering high quality and strategic services US/EP/IN patent prosecution for some of the marquee technology companies in the field of Electronics and Computer Science, with a special focus on Emerging Technologies (Electric Vehicles, AI, ML, Deep Tech, etc.) Analyze Office Actions and build a strategy Ensure smooth execution of simultaneous multiple project deliveries Participate in client calls, discuss prosecution strategies, and assist and troubleshoot problems on-call with clients Knowledge of USPTO, EPO, and Indian Patent Office guidelines and case laws Ability to quickly understand and grasp complex/cutting-edge technologies within hi-tech including VLSI, Semiconductor, Emerging Technology (EVs, AI, ML, blockchain, deeptech, etc.), Education/Experience: Bachelors/Masters in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, or Computer Science IP Experience: 2-4 years in patent prosecution Hourglass provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
