Hiring for a Series A funded leading supply chain and logistics company. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Product to lead the product vision and strategy, particularly focusing on our B2C eCommerce offerings.
Role Overview : As the VP of Product, you will drive product strategy, development, and execution for technology platforms and services. You will lead a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, and engineers to create innovative solutions that enhance our supply chain, improve customer experience, and support our growing business. We are looking for a visionary leader with experience in B2C eCommerce, ideally from a marketplace background, to scale our product initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and execute the long-term product strategy aligned with the company's goals, focusing on B2C eCommerce solutions.
• Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow the product team, fostering a collaborative environment to drive innovation and performance.
• Customer-Centric Approach: Understand the needs of our customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to build products that address pain points and create seamless experiences.
• Roadmap & Prioritization: Define and manage the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of key features and functionalities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, operations, sales, and marketing teams to ensure smooth product development and launch.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data, insights, and market research to drive product decisions and optimizations, continuously improving the product based on feedback.
• Market Research & Analysis: Stay ahead of market trends and competition to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation in the fresh food supply chain sector.
• Stakeholder Management: Present product vision, strategy, and progress to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
• 15+ years of experience in product management, with a significant portion in B2C eCommerce and/or marketplace platforms.
• Proven track record of leading product teams and scaling successful products in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics in the context of perishable goods (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience working with data-driven products, customer insights, and technology solutions to solve complex problems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Experience with agile product development methodologies.
Preferred Experience:
• Background in marketplace-driven platforms, B2C eCommerce, or logistics technology solutions.
• Hands-on experience in scaling product teams and launching customer-facing products in competitive markets.
• Strong understanding of user experience, customer journey mapping, and improving retention rates through product innovation.
