Job SummaryOdoo Software Engineer is responsible for maintaining Odoo web applications, doing development work according to users’ requirements, and resolving coding issues. Principal Responsibilities: (Essential Functions)Odoo System development, enhancement and supportDevelopment of Odoo backend modules using Python Interface development, integrate Odoo with other third-party systemParticipate in requirement discussions, provide solution design and ensure the code qualityProvide technical support and post iteration optimizationOther DutiesImplement special projects and duties relating to software as directed by managersAs an employee of the company, provide suggestions and opinions to the management teamParticipate in related events, as appropriate (resource on-site, client training, etc.)Job RequirementsProfessional Skills2 to 3 years’ experience in Python/Odoo development, proficient in Odoo framework, familiar with basic Python libraries used in OdooFamiliar with Linux, shell, and proficient in using code management tools such as GitFamiliar with the database PostgreSQL, proficient in writing SQL commandsFamiliar with ERP system, with development experience in accounting system, production manufacturing, or SCM Knowledge of Odoo Architecture (Modules, Data Layers, Logic Layers, Presentation Layers)Ability to translate specification documents into customized solutionsStrong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilitiesAbility to work both individually and as part of a teamOther SkillsMust have strong troubleshooting skills, able to work independently to solve problemsAble to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communicationsSelf-motivated, detail-oriented and organizedExcellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skillsExcellent English communication skill is a plusAbility to use MS office, WindowsEducational BackgroundBachelor degree or job experience providing similar skillsSoftware Engineering, Computer Science, MIS related majorsExperienceExperience in Odoo is a plusExperience in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS is a plusExperience in implementing enterprise ERP systems is preferredAt least 2 years working experienceWorking RelationsMaintain good relations between departments to resolve client problemsEffectively communicate with both internal and external clientsDevelop communication and working relationship with Supervisor
