About G&PS Practice
About Government & Public Sector Advisory with deep industry experience, insight and technical support, KPMG in India delivers a broad range of consulting, tax and advisory services to assist the government across the service elements through our integrated offerings with a focus on achieving responsiveness, flexibility and accountability towards addressing the needs of the citizens. Our service offerings are designed to deliver results and include strategy and policy advisory, program management, process reform, technology transformation, and public private partnership (PPP) advisory.
POSITION PURPOSE:
This role involves working closely with senior leadership of the G&PS practice, equipping them with compelling, well-crafted written materials that drive their strategic vision forward. The right candidate will serve as a trusted partner in translating ideas and initiatives into impactful communications that inspire action and foster collaboration. With a focus on clarity, accuracy, and professionalism, this individual will be responsible for ensuring that the department maintains a cohesive voice across all channels.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Researching industry-related topics and generating ideas for new content.
Writing clear, engaging, and informative content for various platforms including website, blog posts, social media, and marketing collaterals.
Develop content strategies that align with practice goals and target audience.
Editing and proofreading content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines.
Optimizing content for SEO to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content writing and digital marketing.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred.
THE INDIVIDUAL
●Located in Chennai.
●Atleast 3 years’ proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role.
●Sound understanding of the government market and policy making landscape.
●Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
●Strong research skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear and compelling content.
●Familiarity with SEO best practices and the ability to incorporate keywords strategically.
●Creativity and a passion for storytelling.
●Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time-management skills.
