Front-End Game Developer

Job Role : Front-End Game Developer

1X2 has pioneered virtual gaming products since 2002 and is now at the forefront of game development, with over 150 titles including Virtual Sports, Table Games, Slots, Instant Win, and soon, Multiplayer games in the iGaming industry. Several brands form the 1X2 Network, each targeting specific market niches. Our two main brands are Iron Dog Studio and 1X2gaming, alongside a wealth of additional partners on the network.

The role of Front-End Game Developer is creative and dynamic.

Maintaining and troubleshooting issues in our award-winning portfolio, including the EGR Operator Awards Game of the Year 2020, "Branded Megaways." 

Designing and extending our award-winning codebase by adding new games and features. 

Following proper version control policies and procedures. 

Liaising with the Graphic Design team to set up individual game configurations. 

Ensuring full compliance with industry best practices and change management policies. 

Contributing to meetings and helping formulate innovative ideas and game features. 

Documenting frameworks according to standard documentation policy. 

Ensuring multiple game variations are available to meet customer demands. 

Utilizing a variety of modern software development tools and leading team-wide improvements.

We're looking for a talented and driven Front-End Game Developer with a passion for interactive experiences and polished, high-quality code. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and a creative mindset. A degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a closely related subject (preferred) 

Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and solid experience with TypeScript 

js or similar HTML5 game rendering frameworks 

Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 for responsive, accessible front-end design 

Experience using Git for version control and platforms like Bitbucket 

Familiarity with Agile workflows and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence 

A sharp eye for game aesthetics and interactive design, with a genuine interest in creative game development 

An interest in learning more about the online gambling industry and its unique development challenges 

Languages : JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, , HTML5 and CSS3

Experience in the iGaming industry
