The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full software design life cycle. They should have experience in designing, coding, testing and consistently managing applications They should be comfortable coding in a number of languages and have an ability to test code in order to maintain high-quality code.
Job Summary
Client is looking for Snowflake Data engineer.
Resposibilities
Data Pipeline Development & Management:
Design, build, and maintain efficient and scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines to integrate, transform, and load data into Snowflake from a variety of sources (internal and external).
Develop and optimize high-performance queries and ensure proper data processing using Snowflake's native features (e.g., clustering, materialized views, streams).
Collaborate with data architects and business teams to design and implement efficient data models within Snowflake, ensuring scalability and performance.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with governance standards.
Qualifications
IT experience with major focus on data warehouse/database related projects
Must have exposure to technologies such as Oracle, Snowflake.
Experience in data platforms: Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, MDM etc
Expertise in writing SQL and database objects - Stored procedures, functions, views.
Hands on experience in ETL/ELT and data security, SQL performance optimization.
Good to have experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP and Snowflake
Good to have strong programming/ scripting skills (Python, Power Shell, etc.)
