As part of the LLM scientific coding team, you will design graduate-level research problems in your domain (Chemistry / Mathematics / Biology / Physics) and create accurate, high-quality computational solutions.This role is ideal for PhD holders or PhD candidates who enjoy problem formulation, scientific reasoning, and computational modeling.Key Responsibilities1. Scientific Problem Design & Computational Solutioning- Develop original, research-grade STEM problems requiring scientific programming in Python.- Categorize problems accurately with tags and difficulty levels.- Solve problems with rigorous scientific reasoning, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility.2. Quality Assurance & Peer Review- Participate in 2-tier review cycles to evaluate problem accuracy, logic, and clarity.- Collaborate with reviewers and team leads to refine content based on feedback.- Maintain high-quality standards and timely delivery.Required Qualifications- PhD or PhD Candidate in one of the following:- Computational Chemistry- Computational Mathematics- Computational Biology / Bioinformatics- Computational Physics- At least one published peer-reviewed paper.- Advanced proficiency in Python for scientific computation.- Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Vetting Process- Interest Check Form (ICF)- Online Python coding test (60 minutes)- Delivery reviewPerks of Freelancing with Turing- 100% remote work.- Opportunity to work with leading LLM and AI research companies.- Potential contract extension based on performance.- Be part of high-impact AI research acceleration projects.Contract Details- Commitment: 8 hours/day (4-hour PST overlap)- Type: Contractor/Freelancer (no medical/paid leave)- Duration: 2 months- Start: Immediate
