Job Title: SAP MDG Consultant with BRF and Flex Framework Expertise

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Consultant with

hands-on expertise in Business Rule Framework (BRF) and Flex Framework. The ideal

candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing master data

solutions, ensuring data quality and compliance with business requirements.


Key Responsibilities

 Requirement Gathering & Stakeholder Collaboration:

o Engage with business stakeholders to understand master data governance

requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation

and continuous improvement of master data management processes.


 Design, Configuration & Customization:

o Design and configure SAP MDG processes, including data modelling, UI

modelling, and process modelling.

o Develop and implement business rules using the BRF framework for

validations, approvals, and master data workflows.

o Customize and enhance SAP MDG functionalities using the Flex Framework

to meet unique client requirements.


 Integration & Data Quality:

o Integrate SAP MDG with other SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC) and third-

party systems.

o Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance across all master data

domains.


 Testing, Troubleshooting & Support:

o Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support for

SAP MDG implementations.

o Analyze and resolve data failures and issues during master data creation.

 Documentation & Training:

o Develop comprehensive documentation for technical configurations and user

guides.

o Provide training and support to end-users and project teams.


Qualifications

Education


 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a

related field.


Experience

 Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP MDG implementation and support.

 Proven expertise in Business Rule Framework (BRF) for configuring business

rules.

 Hands-on experience with the Flex Framework for customizing SAP MDG solutions.


Technical Skills

 Strong knowledge of SAP MDG data modelling, UI configurations, and workflow

setup.

 Proficiency in SAP ABAP for custom developments in MDG.

 Familiarity with integration tools such as SAP PI/PO, CPI, or other middleware

solutions.


Soft Skills

 Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

 Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

 Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.


Preferred Skills

 Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations or implementations.

 Knowledge of additional master data domains such as Material, Vendor, Customer,

and Finance.

 Certification in SAP MDG or related modules is a plus.
