Job Role: SAP Functional IS-Auto DBM/VSS Consultant Job location: SAP Functional IS-Auto DBM/VSS Consultant Job description for an SAP Functional IS-Auto DBM/VSS Consultant at Al-Futtaim GDP would involve designing, configuring, and supporting SAP solutions for automotive dealerships and related business processes, requiring expertise in SAP modules relevant to the automotive industry, strong business analysis and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication with business users and technical teams to bridge functional and technical gaps. SAP Solution Design & Configuration: Design and configure SAP modules to meet the specific needs of the automotive sector, focusing on areas like sales, service, inventory management, and finance within the IS-Auto DBM framework. ~ Analyze existing business processes within Al-Futtaim's automotive operations to identify areas for improvement using SAP solutions. ~ Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into functional specifications for SAP system development and enhancements. ~ Implementation & Support: Lead and participate in the implementation of new SAP solutions and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing systems, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems. ~ Testing & Documentation: Develop test cases, perform system testing, and ensure that the implemented solutions align with business requirements and best practices. ~ User Training & Support: Provide comprehensive training to end-users and develop user-friendly documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs). ~ Collaborate with business teams, project managers, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of SAP solutions. Key Knowledge, Skills, and Experience ~ SAP Functional Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP modules, At least 5+ years of experience in the IS-Auto DBM environment, which includes automotive-specific functionalities. Knowledge of VSS (Proaxia) and cross-functional skills would be a significant advantage along with agile methodology. ~ Strong understanding of business processes within the automotive retail industry. ~ Project Lifecycle Experience: Experience with full SAP project lifecycles, including implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. ~ Familiarity with data migration, report writing, and potentially SQL for data analysis.
