The positive response to an ambitious project encouraged Fluke Games to pursue a professional, polished product.Our mission is to provide a platform where creators can enhance their portfolios through teamwork and innovation and build towards high quality and innovative products and solutions.Role DescriptionFluke Games is looking for a dedicated Unreal Engine Developer to take on a leadership role in an ongoing indie project inspired by Indian mythology. This is a volunteer position ideal for someone with strong Unreal experience who wants to guide a small team , develop scalable systems , and play a central role in shaping the prototype.This is a internship role and does not offer financial compensation. A certificate of internship/experience will be provided on successful completion. It is an opportunity to collaborate, build portfolio-quality work, and gain experience while contributing to the development of our project.As part of the application process, we kindly encourage you to visit our page and check out the prototype video. Please apply only if the project’s vision aligns with your interests, as we are seeking collaborators who resonate deeply with its theme and direction.ResponsibilitiesUse Blueprints to prototype gameplay features, interactions, and cinematic sequences.Contribute to UI/UX implementation in Unreal (UMG, HUD design, widget blueprints).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a consistent visual style and technical quality.Optimize assets and scenes for performance and platform requirements.RequirementsKnowledge of Unreal Engine 5 (or UE4).Experience with Blueprint visual scripting.Understanding of real-time rendering, materials, and lighting.Familiarity with animation workflows (rigging, keyframe, blend spaces, animation blueprints).Nice To HaveExperience with UI/UX design in Unreal (UMG widgets, HUD systems).Understanding of gameplay systems design and rapid prototyping.Knowledge of Niagara or Cascade for VFX.Experience with performance profiling and optimization in Unreal.A personal portfolio or shipped project demonstrating a range of skills.QualificationsUnderstanding of Computer Science conceptsExperience with Unreal Engine 5 , Blueprints, and optionally C++.Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)Strong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and remotely
