Must Have: Aws Glue; Aws Lambda; AWS RDS; AWS S3; Dynamo Db; PySpark; Python; Step Function
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and manage cloud-based OLTP databases using AWS RDS and DynamoDB .
Build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark .
Develop serverless data workflows and automation using AWS Lambda and Step Functions .
Optimize database performance to support business-critical OLTP applications.
Manage and secure data storage in AWS S3 , ensuring efficient data retrieval and integration with other AWS services.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database and infrastructure issues in AWS environments.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to implement data solutions within broader application architectures.
Implement database backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies on AWS.
Assist with data migration from legacy systems to AWS cloud environments, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
Stay updated with the latest AWS advancements and best practices for data and cloud infrastructure.
Required Skills and Experience:
3-15 years of experience in cloud database engineering with a focus on AWS .
Strong experience with AWS RDS , DynamoDB , AWS Glue , AWS Lambda , and AWS S3 .
Hands-on experience with PySpark and Python for building ETL processes and data workflows.
Proficiency in designing and managing OLTP databases and optimizing for performance and scalability.
Experience with AWS Step Functions to orchestrate and automate workflows.
Solid understanding of data governance , security , and disaster recovery strategies in AWS environments.
Experience with data migration to AWS from on-premise or other cloud environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex database and infrastructure issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
