We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in PHP and CMS platforms like Word Press and Drupal , with a proven track record of developing and managing complex websites and applications. Additionally, the role requires strong web security , server management , and system administration knowledge to ensure the development and maintenance of robust, scalable, and secure web solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Website & Application Development :
Design, develop, and maintain complex websites and applications using PHP, Word Press, and Drupal.
Build custom themes, plugins, and modules tailored to specific project requirements.
System Architecture & Database Management :
Architect scalable and high-performance solutions for web applications.
Optimize database structures and queries to ensure efficient data handling.
Web Security :
Implement industry best practices for web security to protect against threats like SQL injections, XSS, and CSRF.
Monitor and update system patches and plugins to ensure compliance with the latest security standards.
Server Management & Administration :
Configure, monitor, and maintain web servers (e.g., Apache, NGINX).
Set up and manage server environments, including deployment pipelines and backups.
Collaboration :
Work closely with designers, project managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Mentor junior developers and guide them on best practices and coding standards.
Qualifications & Skills :
Technical Expertise
Proficiency in PHP , HTML5 , CSS3 , Java Script , and My SQL .
Advanced knowledge of Word Press and Drupal , including custom development and API integration.
Familiarity with frameworks would be an added advantage
Security & Performance :
Strong understanding of web security principles and tools for vulnerability assessment.
Experience in optimizing website performance for speed and scalability.
Server Management :
Hands-on experience with server-side technologies and hosting platforms (e.g., AWS, c Panel, Docker).
Knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration.
Problem Solving :
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
Strong analytical skills to improve and innovate development processes.
