Role Description

We are looking for a  Developer who thrives on building and optimizing APIs that power complex platforms. This is not a cookie-cutter role — we need someone who can  think out of the box , design elegant solutions, and push the limits of scalable backend engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain  RESTful and GraphQL APIs used across eCommerce and automation platforms.
  • Architect and optimize  microservices for performance, resilience, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with front-end, AI, and infrastructure teams to integrate services seamlessly.
  • Ensure APIs are secure, well-documented, and developer-friendly.
  • Debug, monitor, and improve existing API endpoints to reduce latency and improve throughput.
  • Explore innovative solutions for system bottlenecks, data flow, and third-party integrations.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in  (ES6+) and back-end JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Solid experience building and scaling APIs (REST, GraphQL).
  • Familiarity with  databases (SQL and NoSQL) and ORMs.
  • Understanding of authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth, JWT).
  • Knowledge of  microservices architecture and event-driven design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively about system design.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with  API gateways (Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway).
  • Knowledge of  DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
  • Familiarity with  AI/automation integrations .
