Experienced Deputy General Manager

Our client is a leading Fabric Mill seeking for a Deputy General Manager – Finishing who will oversee and manage the finishing operations of the fabric mill, ensuring high-quality output, operational efficiency, and adherence to delivery schedules. The role requires a strong technical background in fabric finishing, leadership skills to manage large teams, and the ability to drive process improvements, cost optimization, and compliance with quality and sustainability standards.
Operational Management
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the finishing department, including bleaching, dyeing, printing, washing, and other finishing processes.
Monitor machine utilization, efficiency, and workflow to optimize capacity.
Quality Assurance
Oversee quality control processes to ensure fabrics meet required customer specifications and international standards.
Drive initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and waste.
Introduce new finishing techniques and technologies to improve efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
Collaborate with R&D and technical teams on process development and new product trials.
Enforce strict adherence to EHS guidelines within the finishing operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Production Management or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 12+ years of experience in fabric finishing, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role in a reputed fabric/textile mill.
