Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Senior IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) Developer to join our team. This role involves designing and implementing high-quality ETL solutions that align with ETL standards, leveraging Oracle, SQL Server, and Snowflake databases. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data integration and cloud technologies, enabling robust support for data-driven decision making and analytics capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. ETL Development and Data Integration - Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows using IICS, integrating data across Oracle, SQL Server, and Snowflake to support business needs. - Implement ETL solutions for complex data integration projects, ensuring data accuracy, security, and timeliness to meet analytics and reporting requirements. - Develop best practices for data transformations, error handling, and scheduling, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
2. Database Management & Optimization - Manage and optimize data storage and retrieval within Oracle, SQL Server, and Snowflake environments. - Create complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support reporting, data transformation, and data migration. Job Description - Perform query tuning, indexing, and data structure enhancements to ensure efficient and scalable database performance.
3. Collaborative Solution Design - Engage with business units to understand data requirements, collaboratively design data solutions, and provide technical expertise in IICS and data integration. - Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including ETL workflows, data mappings, and process diagrams, ensuring knowledge sharing across teams.
4. Continuous Improvement - Identify and implement opportunities to enhance data workflows, system performance, and storage solutions, especially within Snowflake. - Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and ETL issues, ensuring data availability and accuracy for decision support systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an IICS developer, with a strong focus on ETL and data integration.
- Extensive experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and Snowflake, including advanced SQL, performance optimization, and data modelling.
-Experience with agile methodologies and working knowledge of qTest or similar testing management tools.
- Familiarity with GxP processes and compliance standards within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to ensuring data quality and compliance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with experience collaborating in a cross functional environment.
Preferred Skill
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Spotfire).
- Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for advanced data transformation.
