Roles and Responsibilities: Overall 8 to 12 Year We are seeking an experienced Architect to lead the design and development of complex, scalable, and reliable software systems using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of designing and deploying applications on Docker and Kubernetes clusters. The Architect will be responsible for defining the technical vision and strategy for our software solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and implementation of best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable, reliable, and efficient software architectures that meet business requirements
Lead the development team in implementing microservices-based systems using Java and Spring Boot
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components
Build product definition and leverage your technical skills to drive towards the right solution
Lead in design sessions and code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization.
Define, create, and support reusable application components/patterns from a business and technology perspective.
Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, etc. and SQL and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of Azure tools and services.
Mentor other engineers on the team to professionally help them realize their full potential.
Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams.
Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) using tools like Jenkins and GitLab/GitHub
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Manage and implement version control using GitLab, GitHub, or other version management tools
Required Skills:
Must have:
8-12 years of hands-on experience in software development using Java and Spring Boot
Strong expertise in Microservices architecture and design.
Experience in designing databases using SQL, Postgres.
Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, CICD
Previous experience in a lead or senior role, with demonstrated ability to lead a team of developers and deliver high-quality software products
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
Experience in Agile development methodologies
Experience in Performance Analysis and applications tuning.
Experience with version management tools (GitLab, GitHub.
Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance considerations
Good to have:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Experience with cloud-native technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with DevOps tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
NoSql database
