Role: Long Short Trader Summary: Neo is seeking an experienced Long-Short Trader to manage equity positions by leveraging fundamental analysis, quantitative strategies, and market sentiment. The role involves analyzing market trends, identifying profitable opportunities, and executing trades to generate alpha for the company. This position encompasses various trading styles, including quantitative, technical, market neutral, fundamental, and thematic approaches. Each style requires a unique set of skills and expertise to effectively manage and optimize the portfolio. Responsibilities: Quantitative Strategy: Market Neutral Proficiency in quantitative analysis and statistical methods. Use technical and fundamental analysis to uncover high-potential investment opportunities. Experience with algorithmic trading and data-driven decision-making. Long Short Strategy : Technical Expertise in technical analysis and charting techniques. Ability to identify and capitalize on market trends and patterns. Experience in managing long and short positions based on technical indicators. Proficiency in using advanced trading platforms and tools. Long Short Strategy : Thematic/ Fundamental Strong understanding of fundamental analysis and thematic investing. Ability to conduct in-depth research on industries, sectors, and companies. Experience in identifying long and short opportunities based on thematic trends. Proficiency in developing and executing investment strategies based on fundamental insights Develop proprietary trading strategies through market research, quantitative analysis, and algorithmic techniques, collaborating with team members. Implement risk management practices to protect the portfolio and limit drawdowns, adjusting positions based on market conditions. Track performance of positions, ensure they meet goals, provide reports, and refine strategies based on post-trade analysis. Stay updated with market developments, economic news, and industry trend Qualification: · Degree in engineering, CA, CFA, or a graduate degree in finance, economics, or related field. · Strong analytical skills for data analysis, trend recognition, and informed decision-making. · Ability to conduct in-depth research on stocks, sectors, and market trends. · Experience in developing trading strategies through market research, quantitative analysis, and algorithms. · Previous experience in related roles is an advantage.
