General Manager Finance

The General Manager – Finance will lead the entire finance function of the Street Light Poles and PEB manufacturing business. The role involves financial planning, budgeting, cost control, MIS reporting, compliance, working capital management, and supporting business decisions to ensure profitability and growth. This position requires strong manufacturing finance experience and understanding of heavy fabrication, structural steel, and EPC/PEB project cycles. 2. Key Responsibilities A. Financial Planning & Strategy Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals. Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial projections. Lead long-term financial planning for capex, new plants, machines, and projects. B. Accounting & Finance Operations Oversee all accounting functions: AP, AR, GL, banking, payroll, cost accounting. Ensure timely monthly/quarterly/yearly closing of books. Maintain accurate financial statements as per statutory standards. C. Costing & Pricing – Manufacturing & PEB Projects Manage product costing for poles, high masts, and structural fabrication. Prepare PEB project costing , BOQ-based costing, and margin analysis. Monitor raw material (steel) prices, fabrication costs, galvanizing costs, logistics, etc. Ensure accurate project profitability and post-project cost reviews. D. Working Capital Management Monitor receivables, manage credit control, and ensure timely collection. Optimize inventory levels of steel, consumables, and finished goods. Manage vendor payments,
