Job Title: Fashion Designer – Men’s Ethnic Wear
Location: Kolkata_Topsia
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize seasonal men’s ethnic wear collections
- Conduct market research & forecast trends in ethnic menswear
- Select fabrics, trims, embroideries aligned with brand positioning
- Create sketches, tech packs, and coordinate with sampling units
- Collaborate with merchandisers, artisans, and production teams
- Innovate silhouettes blending tradition with contemporary design
- Oversee fittings, styling, and presentation of final garments
- Maintain brand identity while ensuring commercial viability
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Indian textiles, embroidery, and surface ornamentation
- Creative sketching & design proficiency
- Trend forecasting & color story development
- Fabric sourcing & technical garment construction knowledge
- Team collaboration & time management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree / diploma in Fashion Design
- 2–5 years of experience in menswear / ethnic fashion design
- Portfolio demonstrating creative ethnic wear collections
