Technical Writer – Content and PowerPoint Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer with expertise in creating high-quality content and impactful PowerPoint presentations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of technical concepts, excellent writing skills, and the ability to transform complex information into clear, concise, and visually engaging materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Development:
- Research, write, edit, and proofread technical documents such as user manuals, reports, whitepapers, and case studies.
- Ensure content aligns with the organization’s goals, technical accuracy, and audience needs.
Presentation Design:
- Develop visually compelling PowerPoint presentations tailored for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex ideas into engaging slides using graphics, charts, and infographics.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering, marketing, and product teams to gather technical inputs and ensure consistency in messaging.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and revise documents and presentations accordingly.
Technical Simplification:
- Break down technical jargon and complex information into user-friendly content and visuals.
- Create templates and guidelines for standardized communication and presentations across teams.
Content Management:
- Maintain a repository of technical content and presentation materials.
- Ensure documents are well-organized and adhere to company standards for branding and style.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in technical writing and PowerPoint presentation design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, and familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or similar).
- Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a knack for creativity.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
- Basic knowledge of coding or software development tools.
- Experience with video editing or interactive presentations is a plus.
