Tribe is a funded venture by well-known and highly experienced stakeholders.Role OverviewWe’re looking for a high-performance AVP - Finance to take complete ownership of Tribe’s financial function. This leadership role covers finance strategy, cashflow management, investor relations, reporting, taxation, fundraising, and compliance along with active involvement in financial structuring, forecasting, and operational finance.The ideal candidate has navigated at least one venture fundraising journey, has deep knowledge of real estate or hospitality finance, and thrives in a fast-growth, founder-drivenKey ResponsibilitiesStrategic & Operational FinanceLead financial reporting, forecasting, and structuring to ensure smooth operations.Drive budgeting, strategic planning, and KPI frameworks.Support expansion projects, pricing models, and capex planning.Accounting, Audit & ComplianceEnsure timely and accurate closure of books (Ind-AS / Indian GAAP).Lead statutory, tax, and internal audits.Oversee ROC, RBI, FEMA, TDS, GST, and ESOP compliance.Fundraising & Investor RelationsOwn investor documents, financial models, decks, and data rooms.Manage due diligence and support negotiations and closures.Maintain investor updates, board reporting, and cap table.Banking & TreasuryBuild proactive relationships with banks and lenders.Lead debt structuring, working capital facilities, and vendor financing.Manage treasury operations and ensure liquidity.Vendor & Cost ManagementGovern vendor contracts, negotiate fees, and manage payouts.Implement cost control systems and real-time tracking processes.Maintain discipline across accounts payable and procurement cycles.Candidate ProfileChartered Accountant (CA) – MandatoryMinimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in finance rolesStrong background in VC fundraising, due diligence, and modelingExperience in hospitality, real estate, or venture-backed startupsHands-on with Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and financial software like Tally, Zoho, or QuickBooksHigh ownership, strategic mindset, and ability to thrive in founder-led environmentsPerks & BenefitsHealthy ESOP Pool – Share in the long-term value you help createFlexible Stay Options – Enjoy Tribe properties as part of the teamFounder-Led Environment – High trust, fast decisions, high impactCross Functional Exposure - Work closely with ops, expansion, CX, and investors.Apply If You’re Ready ToDrive the financial engine of one of India’s most exciting living brandsShape the future of lifestyle-oriented housing and hospitalityBe the right hand of the founders on financial decision-makingTake complete control of finances with ownership and freedom with great systems.Share your resumes at
