Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Ruby on Rails Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly with the Ruby on Rails framework, and will work on creating robust, scalable web applications. This role is ideal for a developer who is passionate about coding, has an eye for detail, and can work in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement in development standards and processes.
  • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality code.
  • Engage in the full software development lifecycle from concept and design to testing.


Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails in a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript .
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
  • Familiarity with database management and experience with SQL and PostgreSQL .
  • Understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns.
  • Proficiency with Git version control.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Ability to write and optimize unit and integration tests .
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
