Vasukam is a tech startup by a team of IIT alumni. It is a journey towards the next generation of social media interaction platforms. We are an early-stage startup and have an inspiring roadmap planned. We are looking for enthusiastic UI/ UX Designers who love to experiment with new and evolving technologies having a keen interest in building game applications. You must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take the lead on new innovations and projects to develop our next generation gaming application.
Designation: UI/ UX Designer Intern
Internship period: 3 months
Internship Types: Full-time, Internship
Stipend: Approx. Rs. 2,500/-* per month
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the product and development teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and user experience.
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the app remains modern and innovative.
Requirements
Immediate joiner
Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision.
Experience with user research and usability testing tools like UserTesting, Lookback, and Hotjar.
Strong understanding of wireframing, user flow design, interaction design, and usability testing.
Familiarity with design methodologies such as User-Centered Design (UCD), Agile Methodology, and Design Thinking.
Experience with collaboration and handoff tools like Zeplin, Abstract, and Sympli to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient handoff to developers.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
