Vegah LLC is seeking exceptionally talented and driven interns from India to join our cutting-edge AI/ML applications building team. This remote internship offers a unique opportunity for advanced students to work on complex, real-world projects while accommodating their academic schedule.
About the Role:
- Position : Advanced Machine Learning Intern
- Location : Remote (Work from India)
- Hours : 4-5 hours per day during US business hours (night time in India)
- Duration : Initial 3-4 month unpaid internship with potential for conversion to a paid position based on performance
Who We're Looking For:
- Highly skilled students in their 1st or 2nd year of undergraduate studies in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in AI/ML
- Self-motivated learners with a passion for staying at the forefront of AI technology
- Ability to work independently on complex tasks and adapt quickly to new challenges
Required Technical Skills:
Data Science / Machine Learning / Deep Learning:
- Proficiency in data manipulation, visualization, and exploratory data analysis (EDA)
- Strong understanding of neural network architectures: ANN, CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformers
- Experience with LLMs and various learning paradigms: Supervised, Unsupervised, Semi-supervised, Self-supervised
- Expertise in feature engineering, selection, and extraction
Python Packages and Frameworks:
- Advanced proficiency in scikit-learn, PyTorch, HuggingFace
- Skilled use of pandas, numpy, scipy, pySpark
- Data visualization with matplotlib, seaborn, plotly
Cloud Deployment and Containers:
- Experience with AWS services: EC2, ECR, Beanstalk
- Proficiency in Docker containerization
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and GitHub Actions
Databases:
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
Web Development:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with Flask for backend development
Responsibilities:
- Develop and fine-tune sophisticated machine learning models
- Implement end-to-end ML pipelines, from data preprocessing to model deployment
- Contribute to solving complex AI challenges in real-world applications
- Collaborate with the team on advanced research and development projects
- Stay updated on cutting-edge AI/ML technologies and implement them in our projects
