Job Title: Engagement and Admission Specialist supporting Swinburne University of Technology Division: Education - PACE At Acumen (part of the Sannam S4 Group), we partner with leading international universities to support their global engagement strategies. We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused GS Officer – International Admissions to support Swinburne University of Technology in managing genuine student (GS) assessments and admissions processing in India. This role offers the opportunity to work with a world-class Australian university, playing a key part in ensuring high-quality student applications and compliance with international admissions standards. Based in Delhi, the GS Officer will help optimise student recruitment while ensuring alignment with Australian government and university policies. Verify academic documents through institutions, DigiLocker, or other reliable methods. Evaluate financial documentation and assess student capacity to fund studies. Compliance and Quality Assurance Monitor agent activity and escalate complex or high-risk cases to the appropriate teams. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of visa regulations, education systems, and financial norms in key markets. Ensure information management, reporting, and record-keeping practices meet Swinburne's legal and operational standards. Act as the central liaison for GS-related queries and ensure internal teams are kept informed of any policy changes. Provide high-quality, student-focused service to applicants, families, education agents, and institutional partners. Process Improvement and System Support Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of admissions processes, including system enhancements and automation initiatives. Support troubleshooting and resolution of system-related issues to minimise disruption. A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Business, International Relations) and experience in international admissions or GS assessment. Strong understanding of the Australian education sector, visa regulations, and compliance requirements. Excellent communication skills in English and fluency in Hindi; knowledge of additional Indian languages is a plus. Previous experience with StudyLink Connect is preferred. Experience working with the Australian Department of Home Affairs or similar visa processing experience is an advantage.
