Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled GCP DevOps Engineer to join our cloud engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for automating the deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Terraform , Kubernetes , and CI/CD pipelines. You will work in a collaborative environment to ensure efficient and scalable infrastructure, implement cloud-native solutions, and drive continuous integration and delivery practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • GCP Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and more.
  • Terraform Automation: Write and maintain Terraform scripts to automate the provisioning and management of GCP resources, ensuring infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices are followed.
  • Kubernetes & Containerization: Design and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes (GKE), ensuring high availability, scaling, and security of workloads.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Implementation: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins , GitLab CI , Google Cloud Build , or similar tools, automating the deployment process from code commit to production.
  • Monitoring & Optimization: Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using Google Cloud Operations (formerly Stackdriver) , and optimize resource usage and cost within the GCP environment.
  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with development, QA, and security teams to ensure smooth delivery of cloud solutions and resolve issues related to CI/CD, Kubernetes, and infrastructure.
  • Version Control & Automation: Integrate infrastructure changes into version control systems (e.g., Git) and manage configurations, secrets, and code deployment automatically across environments.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices for GCP resources and CI/CD pipelines, including role-based access control (RBAC), encryption, and IAM (Identity and Access Management).
  • Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency across the team.
