Role Overview
We are seeking an Agriculture Specialist with a minimum of 15 years of experience in handling 10 K FPO projects and other government-funded agricultural initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of agriculture value chains and strong experience working with government officials and bureaucrats.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and management of 10 K FPO projects and other government initiatives.
Develop strategies for FPO formation, strengthening, and market linkages.
Engage with government authorities, bureaucrats, and policymakers for project execution.
Provide expert guidance on agricultural value chains, policy interventions, and sustainability.
Conduct training programs, workshops, and awareness sessions for stakeholders.
Monitor project performance, ensure compliance with government guidelines, and prepare reports.
Collaborate with funding agencies, partners, and key stakeholders to ensure project success.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education: BSc in Agriculture / Ph. D. in Agriculture or Horticulture.
Experience: 15+ years in handling 10 K FPO projects and other government agricultural initiatives.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of agriculture value chains, policies, and market linkages.
Key Skills & Competencies
✔ Proven expertise in implementing and managing 10 K FPO projects.
✔ Strong experience in liaising with government officials and bureaucrats.
✔ Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
✔ In-depth knowledge of agriculture value chains, sustainability, and rural development.
