Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an IBM Sterling B2 B Integrator Developer at Vedya Software Solutions in Bengaluru, with the flexibility for some remote work. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting B2 B integrations using IBM Sterling B2 B Integrator. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Perform Application Development using B2 B Technologies (SI-EDI and SI-MFT) for Enterprise demands & Internal requests.
Work with Integrations Architects, Solution Designers & Business to deliver high quality EDI and MFT solutions.
Schedule meetings with stakeholders around the world to gather Project’s functional & technical requirements, scope of work, timelines, UAT & Deployment plans.
Follow Enterprise Change & Release management guidelines to develop & implement new B2 B solutions in various Application environments.
Take ownership of the complete Application Development process like Requirements gathering, scheduling B2 B architects review & approval, Code/solution development, Unit Testing, UAT, Production cutover & Post go-live support.
Ensure the newly developed solutions, codes, processes and configurations are in line with the Enterprise policies and guidelines.
Communicate and promote adoption of best practices and standards in the Development area.
Contribute to the B2 B Modernization program from the B2 B Development perspective.
Required Skillsets
Should have 5+ years of experience with B2 B EDI and MFT Applications
Minimum of 3+ years of Development experience in IBM Sterling Integrator B2 B (Map Integrator).
Strong mapping experience with Positional, CSV, XML, IDoc, X12, EDIFACT, Flat Files, ODBC, etc.
Well versed with Communication protocols like s FTP, AS2, HTTP/HTTPs, VAN. Web Services and API added advantage
Working knowledge of Light Well framework
Experience on XSLT, JSON, SI BP will be a plus
Strong experience in creating new SI Business Processes (BPML) & various Adapters and Services.
Sound knowledge on creating complex transformation maps in SI using Map Editor.
Good understanding of Enterprise Infrastructure systems like Database, Storage, Network, Load Balancers, Firewall, reverse proxy, etc.
Understanding of systems architecture, security for external and internal communication.
Knowledge on various scripting tools like shell, python, etc is an advantage.
Moderately proficient experience with Java, JSON, SI BP, XPath, XSLT, SOAP, REST, SQL.
Understanding of agile principles and IT project management a nice to have.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, presentation, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and conceptualization skills.
